That’s A LOT of popular games at HUGE discounts!
I guess Spring really is mystery season!
Now, onto the new releases for this week!
It seems things were quite polarized this week, with each game either doing really well or going mostly ignored. So you can choose whether to follow what’s popular, or take a gamble on finding a hidden gem!
1. The Thaumaturge
The Thaumaturge is a story-driven RPG with morally ambiguous choices, taking place in the culturally diverse world of early 20th century Warsaw. In this world, salutors exist: esoteric beings that only thaumaturges can truly perceive and use for their needs.
2. REVEIL
REVEIL is a narrative first-person psycho-thriller game that focuses on story, puzzles and exploration. Find out what’s going on inside Walter Thompson and what his dark past at the Nelson Bros Circus has to do with it.
3. Paramnesia: Escape Together
A Cooperative Mystery Unfolds: In 1948, four investigators come together to find a missing priest, only to be trapped in a sinister space. Through teamwork, they uncover clues, echoes of their pasts, and mysterious notes signed in their names......
4. TEEFAX: Cold Case
Unravel a cold case after an old laptop containing the photos of a long unidentified victim and a strange app called "The Door" is found in an abandoned house. The police reckon it may be a cipher of some sort, but after unsuccessful attempts at decoding it, they turn to the public.
5. Clash: Blue Mirage
Clash received a direct call from a scared little girl. She barely had time to scream for help before the line was cut. Her call was traced back to Fallen Plantation, a haunted mansion attraction controlled by an AI calling itself Blue Mirage. The AI is strong enough to hack Clash, even when he is disconnected from any networks! How will Clash solve this mystery? Will Clash solve this mystery?
One more thing…
Just a quick update for everyone. I am happy to report that the updates to the Mystery Gamedev website are coming along really well! You can’t see them yet, but I can realistically see rolling these changes out before the end of March! I am really excited to show things off, but I’d rather wait until it’s all 100% ready to launch.
Similarly, I have my recording setup for YouTube videos and podcast interviews all ready as well. I’ve made several practice attempts at recording videos, and I’m learning a lot about the best process that works for me. The biggest problem right now is trying to find the time to record anything.
I just have a lot of things going on this month, so that’s why these posts have been so short recently! But I’m really aiming to write a longer post for next week’s newsletter (I have several topics in mind), so let’s hope I can get it done!
Thanks for reading!
